What

we do

At Fusion Northern Victoria, we are dedicated to creating inclusive communities that empower young people and families to realize their full potential.

Located at our Fusion Centre in White Hills, our programs and activities are founded on the belief that every person matters and has a unique purpose. We foster welcoming and encouraging communities, offering opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to challenge themselves to grow within a safe and nurturing environment.

Community
Mentoring Program

At Fusion we believe that everyone has a contribution to make to our community. In the Community Mentoring Program, all projects that young people work on with their mentors will benefit others in some way. Young people learn new skills and achieve something that matters, and mentors get to share their skills with the next generation.

The program is a 3-hour commitment per week for 6 months. It is suited to young people who are on a flexible school schedule or home educated. Our mentors are highly experienced, with skills including fine arts, building, woodwork and gardening.

Our next Mentoring Program will start in February 2025. If you know someone who would benefit from being involved as a Mentor or participant, please get in touch. We’d love to find a place for them.

Fusion
Playgroup

Fusion Playgroup began in 2005. With a focus on enjoying the outdoors, healthy eating and physical play, the group gives children plenty of opportunity to play, explore and interact, while parents and carers connect and encourage each other.

Play is a keyway that children learn and explore the world, so we make sure this is our focus. Held outside near our Community Garden, we also enjoy tasting and eating things grown in the kitchen garden. Even better, we can get our own hands dirty too, learning to plant seeds, grow flowers and care for the garden.

Fusion
Community Garden

In the grounds of the Fusion centre in White Hills, our team has worked with local people and our Mentoring participants to create a Community Garden. Now featuring three wicking beds plus fruit trees, the next stage of the Garden will be construction of a greenhouse for plant propagation and growing our own seedlings from seed.

The Fusion
Families Course

Choosing values. Learning skills. Building families that thrive!

For more than 25 years, Fusion’s Families Course has been transforming the ways families connect and engage with each other.

Empowering parents and carers with the practical skills they need to build the family they long for, the Families Course is available as a self-paced online course or can be delivered face to face your group, church or organization.
